Honors
Before honour is humility. —King Solomon hon-or () n. 1. A token of esteem paid to worth. 2. That which rightfully attracts esteem, respect, or consideration. Earning honors is a terrific way for young people to lay a foundation of self-esteem and refine their character in preparation for their life's journey. The wide scope of Pathfinder honors encourages the individual to expand their mind and talents according to their own unique interests. Honors help to fine-tune the motor skills, develop an interest in learning by self-exploration, and hone interpersonal skills and courtesies. Pathfinders display their patches across their uniform sash. The image on each patch symbolizes the subject of that honor. For individual honor requirements, please refer to the AY Honor Manual at pathfindersonline.org.
